Morton Arboretum Illumination

The next place we decided to visit was the Morton Arboretum for their Illumination display. It includes trees covered in LED lights that respond to touch and dance to music. This is the second year for this display; last year when I heard about it, it was sold out. So I made sure to buy my tickets early. I loved the Hug A Tree display; trees change color the moment they are hugged. They also have the Crystal Promenade, where trees are adorned with crystal chandeliers that dim with the music. And the best display is the Symphony woods where the lights dance to music by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. It’s a great place to visit if you love Holiday Light Displays. They also have numerous fire pits so if you’re cold you can warm up for a moment & continue with the path.
